It's something I want to try to bring into puppetfilm.Darkmattershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15410415900992364189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4997646341221960818.post-54123059591157575222007-02-15T07:11:00.000-08:002007-02-15T07:11:00.000-08:00I've never heard of Vietnamese water puppets.....W...I've never heard of Vietnamese water puppets.....WOW, thanks for the exposure...maybe someday I'll try out a 'Jenny' adaptation live on water :)UbaTuberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15777541540454167277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4997646341221960818.post-19210466296590908672007-02-14T23:12:00.000-08:002007-02-14T23:12:00.000-08:00I really love the bit about, "...you are asked to ...I really love the bit about, "...you are asked to believe that a block of wood is the goddess Venus. If you do that, if you involve yourself in that imaginative leap, that act of complicity, then it becomes super-real... Having made the leap, audiences can be led into fantastical worlds."<BR/><BR/>There a key in there for storytellers of all stripes. I'll keep it in mind.
